The hotel is a 64-acre former farm with mountains in the background. It has seven large cabañas and three smaller ones with lodging for 2 people each. Each cabaña has a private bath, safe water supply, fan and bedding. All are decorated in traditional style with wooden posts, and earthen-tile roof, front porch with hammock and rustic rocking chairs surrounded by ornamental plants and tropical flowers according to the season. The property features fruit-bearing tropical trees. During April, May and June, guests can enjoy the harvest of mangoes and papayas. Oranges, guavas, soursop, cashew fruit, avocados and other tropical fruits are also available free of charge. |
The hotel has an open palapa that sits 60 people comfortably that functions as the restaurant. Beside it there is a smaller palapa with a grill, wooden stove, earthen oven and work table where guests can prepare their food if they wish.
The hotel facilities can be rented for training sessions, meetings, retreats, birthdays and wedding receptions. All these activities can be scheduled day or night.
ClimateGenerally warm and dry. The rainy season runs May through October. Showers are generally light and of short duration. During November and December, the temperature is cool and dry making for a very pleasant outdoor experience. |
PanoramaThere are no known health risks as the property has been a farm dedicated for many years to corn, beans and cattle grazing. The property is located near the INFOP office for the protection of the environment.
